Meetings vs. Events
Meetings are regular club gatherings — monthly brew nights, tastings, planning sessions. They show with a 🍺 icon.
Events are one-off occasions — competitions, festivals, field trips. They show with a 📅 icon.
Both appear together in a merged upcoming timeline, sorted by date.
Adding Items
Click Add Meeting or Add Event to open the form. Fill in the title, date, time, and location. Events can also include an external URL (e.g. a link to tickets or a Facebook event).
Cancelling
Rather than deleting a meeting or event, you can mark it as cancelled. It stays on the schedule with a cancelled indicator so members who already saved the date know not to show up.
Past Items
Items older than today are hidden from the main view. Only upcoming meetings and events are shown by default.
